Our Yule Ritual & Feast Is Tonight!

Join us for Hands of Change’s annual Yule feast and ritual
Tonight, Friday December 8th 7PM at the USNB church in East Brunswick!

Cerridwen and Evergreen will be hosting a ritual Yule skit with the feast to follow!

Our Yule ritual is kid-friendly and we’ll have a potluck feast to follow!
We ask that everyone brings something to share – be it cookies, a favorite holiday dish, etc.! Vegan and gluten free dishes appreciated!

From those able, we ask a donation of $5 per adult in order to cover rental of the space and supplies. Children are free.

Ninefold Path Class 9 – Non-Violent Communication

Hands of Change coven again offers the 9th public class in its Ninefold Path training program. This class is required for those seeking membership.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is based on a fundamental principle: Underlying all human actions are needs that people are seeking to meet. Understanding and acknowledging these needs can create a shared basis for connection, cooperation, and more harmonious relationships on both a personal and global level. NVC is composed of honestly expressing ourselves to others and empathically hearing them. Students will have the opportunity to learn about and practice NVC techniques and understand its practical application in the HOC context. Other aspects of interpersonal dynamics in relationship to coven rituals, workings and business meetings will also be discussed.

All individual classes cost only $10, payable at the beginning of each class to the instructor. We can offer a discounted rate of $25 for 3 classes, payable at the beginning of the first of the three classes to be attended.

2019 – Healing Mother Earth

As many of our congregants know, each year Hands of Change chooses a theme around which to plan our rituals and celebrations. Given the numerous challenges currently faced by our planet, challenges that threaten land, sea and sky – indeed, life itself – we at HOC have chosen Healing Mother Earth as the theme for 2019. As pagans, we are intimately connected to both God and Goddess as immanent in all of creation. It is time we used our energy, both magickal and mundane, to give back to our Mother and do our utmost to help heal the wounds our human species have inflicted upon her. Each month we will be presenting, on our website, some of the problems She faces, what some enlightened humans are doing to try to solve those problems, and what each of us can do to make a difference. So join us through the year as we do our best to Heal our Mother, and show her we care!
